Dear Mr Gill,

My husband and I have now returned from our honeymoon and life has been rather hectic since then.  I would like to write a little note about the wonderful Claudie Ineson.  A delayed but definitely not forgotten note!

Allerton Castle as a venue to look at, of course did not disappoint, but the biggest selling point was in fact Claudie.  Not only did she listen and respond very well to my meticulous questioning in our initial meeting, she gave a very good impression that Dine had assigned an Events Manager that clearly knew what she was doing.  Claudie’s friendly, helpful and professional viewpoint instantly put me at ease and I was confident that things would be straightforward from there on.  After confirming the venue and to prove a point that I trusted her implicitly, we only needed to visit Claudie twice before the wedding – first time was to visit the venue and the second time was rehearsal day!

The wedding day was magical and seamless as I anticipated it to be.  Not only were we extremely happy with the set up, our guests gave us excellent comments about the quality of the food that was being served in a timely fashion and it being hot- very important points! Everything was timed to perfection.  We couldn’t be happier with the quality service from the staff throughout the whole day.

It was indeed a great pleasure to work with Claudie and her team and I would highly recommend her to any future bride & groom – she certainly knows what she is doing and if she can handle my no nonsense approach along with our, at times, a handful and hard to please parents – I don’t know who can do a better job than this.

We have now had time to reflect on our daughter’s wedding and thought it opportune to write to you to thank and commend everyone at Dine. All your staff contributed to a wonderful day at Allerton Castle

Allerton Castle was the first venue we actually viewed. We met Claudie and Sophie and following that meeting we e-mailed Hannah to the effect that we were impressed by the venue and Dine’s flexible approach to designing and tailoring the day to meet Hannah and Al’s preferences. Most importantly we were very impressed by the positive “can do” attitude of Dine’s Event Managers.

Our initial impressions were fully vindicated during the detailed planning. As I said in my father-of-the-bride speech, my daughter has inherited the curse of perfectionism from me. We are aware that she was frequently in contact with Dine to ensure no detail was left unattended. Our Event Manager, Claudie Ineson guided us with positive ideas and good humour throughout the wedding planning.

The thorough planning paid off and on the day itself as mentioned earlier the day progressed very smoothly and fully reflected Hannah and Al’s personalities and expectations. It was indeed a very happy and “fun” day which everyone appears to have thoroughly.

We therefore thank Dine for their excellent work.

We wanted to write to you to express what a wonderful day we had during our wedding at Allerton castle. From our first visit to Allerton we knew it was the venue for us.

What makes it so unique is that the castle has the most intimate atmosphere due to it being exclusive use. From entering the castle on the morning of the wedding we were made to feel like it was our home for the day, nothing was too much trouble

The staff are so well trained and efficient that that you have full confidence to let them lead you throughout the day without any stress. If any issues did arise the staff were on hand and sorted it immediately, foe example we were one button hole short – our bridesmaid mentioned this to Claudie and she replied “don’t worry I will do some trimming of the centrepieces!” Problem solved!  

The canapés were wonderful and much better quality than what we have had at other weddings. They were presented perfectly with the staff using glass trays with actual flowers underneath. The winter Pimms was also a very good recommendation from Claudie and no one seemed with out a drink as were constantly being topped up.

The food however was a real highlight with the steak being cooked to perfection with I feel is a real triumph when cooking for 80 people. What I was particularly impressed with was the fact that nothing happened on the day without us being consulted. Dine really work at your pace.

The arrangements for the day were extremely efficient which was entirely down to the professionalism of Claudie.

We can only say this is well deserved from the experience we had when my daughter Alison married Andrew Smith at Allerton Castle on Friday 19th Sept 2008.  The whole experience we had was one of excellent surroundings – excellent food – and excellent service lead by an expert on the day.

The main purpose of this letter, however, is to thank you all at Dine and especially you, Sophie and Euan for making Clara and Laurie’s day so special. Everybody who came to the wedding was so impressed, not only by the venue, but also how the event was handled by you from the initial greeting, through the ceremony to the meal and the party afterwards. Several of our guests commented on the attention to detail which you all put into the day and both Jacqueline and I commented afterwards, the real bonus was that we didn’t need to worry about a thing; just as your promotional literature promised. The only slight problem that we have, and one which was raised by Clara’s unmarried sister is now that the bench-mark has been set what will she do when she sets the date!

We wanted to write to you to express what a wonderful day we had during our wedding at Allerton Castle. From our first visit to Allerton Castle we knew it was the venue for us. The room was already set for the wedding breakfast when we arrived and looked amazing. Jill Springall provided our flowers and candelabras for the tables and did a wonderful job.

The staff are so well trained and efficient that you have full confidence to let them lead you through the day with out any stress. If any issues did arise the staff were on hand and sorted it immediately. The staff even scuffed up the bottoms of our shoes prior to the ceremony so that we would have grip on the floors and therefore not slip!

We hired Eddie Brown coaches to bring our guests to and from the venue and were told that as the bus pulled up the long driveway towards the castle, there was a loud gasp from our guests as it came into view.

The canapés were wonderful and much better quality than what we had had at other weddings. They were presented perfectly with the staff using glass trays with actual flowers underneath.

With the first phase of our honeymoon now complete and slowly getting back into our usual routine Larry and I would like to express our gratitude for the outstanding professionalism we received from Sophie Brooks and her colleagues.

Larry and I were married in April after a 22 year courtship. We celebrated our wedding over 4 days (an Irish and Scottish Wedding) and enjoyed our reception and evening event at Allerton Castle on Saturday 18th April.

Sophie is clearly extremely skilled in her area of expertise. She was always prompt, provided additional great ideas and went out of her way to ensure that as a company she and her colleagues provided the very best for our wedding.

We had great fun and enjoyment with our planning in the fourteen months leading up to the 18th April. Everything was conducted with meticulous quality and attention to detail. It was wonderful to experience all her colleagues in action on the day; terrific teamwork.

Our family and friends (115 on the day) were all impressed and commented on the quality of service, food, drinks and venue. Sophie's capability ensured that all our suppliers were coordinated in order to create a fabulous and lasting impression to our guests.

All employees on the day were a pleasure to work with and nothing was a problem in terms of requests and service.

It has been a pleasure to work with Sophie over this period. We will certainly recommend Dine and Allerton Castle to friends and colleagues. Our appreciation also goes to Claudie because when we had contact with her we received exactly the same level of high and quality service.

Dear Sophie and all of the Dine team,
Thank you so so much for helping to make our wedding day so amazing. We have been told by several guests that it was the best wedding they have been to- even better than their own! We certainly had a wonderful time and know it would not have been so special without your skills.

On the day the whole team was fantastic. It was great knowing we could relax and that you would ensure that everything was taken care of and would run smoothly. You certainly did that well and many of our guests have commented on how friendly and helpful you all were.

Thanks especially to you Sophie, for your help, efficiency and sense of fun with the preparations. It really meant we could enjoy the build up rather than needing to stress as I knew you had everything well in hand!

I am missing your emails and wish you every success in the future.

My Dear Claudie,
